Treatment scope:

Hair removal works:
1. Cut or shave hair to 1-2mm or ask patients to shave at home 2-3 days before treatment.
2. Clear treatment area.
3. Turn on machine,
choose man /woman and skin type ,clinic the treatment area ,adjust the parameter, set it to ‘standby’ .
4. Put cooling gel on treatment area about 2mm.
5. Wear protect goggles for patient and operator.
6. Shot the treatment area, let the crystal tip to touch cooling gel, You are permitted to have
1/3 overlapping on treatment area.
7. Wipe off cooling gel after treatment and clear treatment area with cooling water. If patients
feel warm or hot, you may put ice bag on treatment area until heat disappear.
FAQ:
What is laser therapy and how does it work? Lasers designed for permanent hair reduction emit wavelengths of light that are absorbed by the pigment in the hair (melanin). If the surrounding skin is lighter than the colour of the hair, the energy of the laser is concentrated in the hair shaft (selective phytothermalysis), effectively destroying it without affecting the skin. Once the hair follicle is destroyed the hair growth activity is permanently disabled.
Who suitable for Laser Hair Removal?
Both men and women seek laser hair removal to remove unwanted hair. Laser hair removal is commonly done on the underarm, pubic area, legs, abdomen, lip, chin, back, buttocks, thighs, face, neck, chest, arms, and toes.
Laser technology works by targeting dark pigment. Therefore, it works best on pale skin and dark coarse hair. The lighter the skin and the darker and more coarse the hair, the better the results.
What is the difference between Laser and IPL?
IPL stands for ‘intense pulsed light’ and has some branded variations such as SIPL, VPL, SPL which are all essentially the same technology. IPL machines are not lasers. IPL devices are generally cheaper than laser devices, which is why many clinics choose to use them. These machines produce a wide bandwidth of traditional light that can heat up all of the surrounding tissue. IPL lacks laser's ability to produce a selective bandwidth of light that will only affect the hair shaft making it less effective in disabling hair and putting the skin at a higher risk for side effects.
IPL generally requires more treatments (sometimes double or triple the treatments) or may only reduce the thickness and darkness of the hair, rather than eliminate it completely. Generally, true hair removal lasers (i.e. Alexandrite, Diode, and ND:Yag types) tend to achieve superior results for unwanted hair treatment.
What should the treatment be like?
Customer and therapist will wear safety glasses to protect eyes from light during the procedure. The therapist will use a small handpiece that touches your skin to deliver the light. Gels may be applied before and after treatment and sunblock is generally applied post treatment. Customer will be draped appropriately for privacy, and lay on clean, soft disposable sheeting for hygiene and comfort.
How long does the treatment take?
Every treatment, like every patient, is unique. Most areas can be treated in 5 to 15 minutes – depending on the surface area and head applicator used. How many treatments will the customer needed?
Hair grows in cycles and laser can treat hairs in the “Anagen” or active growth stage. Since approximately 20% of hairs are in the appropriate Anagen stage at any one time, at least 5 effective treatments are necessary to disable most of the follicles in a given area. Most people require 8 sessions, but more may be required for the face, those with darker skin or hormonal conditions, those with certain syndromes, and for those that have waxed for many years or had IPL in the past (both affect follicle health and growth cycles).
The hair growth cycle will slow throughout the laser course as there is less blood flow and nourishment to the hair site. The growth may slow to months or even years before new hairs show up. This is why maintenance is required after the initial course. All treatment results are individual.
